Building practical access where distance has always been the barrier.
Appalachian Meridian Group, LLC is a Virginia-based strategy and innovation company developing healthcare, technology and community-access solutions for rural America.
About AMG
Appalachian Meridian Group, LLC is a limited liability company organized in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We work at the intersection of healthcare delivery, technology and community organization, with a focus on the practical questions that determine whether a rural resident can actually reach care: how far, how often, who explains it, and what happens next.
Our work is deliberately grounded. We design programs and products alongside the clinicians, community organizations and residents who will use them, and we build for the real conditions of rural life — limited connectivity, long travel distances and thin local infrastructure.
AMG operates as an independent company and partners with health systems, research organizations, nonprofits and public agencies working toward the same outcome: fewer barriers between people and the care and information available to them.
Capabilities
Four areas of practice, applied individually or as a coordinated program.
Healthcare Access Strategy
Program design and operational planning that helps organizations extend specialty care, screening and follow-up into rural counties.
Technology Development
Design and development of practical digital products — web and mobile — built for low-bandwidth conditions and plain-language use.
Community Access Programs
Coordination frameworks that connect residents, local organizations and providers around shared logistics, outreach and navigation.
Research & Trial Awareness
Approaches for making clinical trial information understandable and reachable for communities that are historically under-informed about it.
Flagship platform
Appalachian Access
Appalachian Access is a platform connecting patients with clinical trials, specialty-care resources, mobile clinic days and personal navigation support. It is designed to gather scattered information into one place and to keep the language plain, so that a resident, a caregiver or a local organization can see what is available and what to do next.
Clinical trials
Helps patients find and understand clinical trial opportunities relevant to their situation.
Specialty-care resources
Organizes information about specialty services and how residents can reach them.
Mobile clinic days
Surfaces scheduled mobile clinic days and where they are taking place.
Personal navigation support
Connects people with navigation support when the next step is unclear.
Appalachian Access is a registered fictitious name owned and operated by Appalachian Meridian Group, LLC. The platform provides information and navigation support; it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not guarantee eligibility for any trial, service or program.
